Update - 21/05/2021
I have been contacted by the great great niece of Joseph, Karen Trushaden. She confirmed that the correct spelling of the surname is with only one s.
She has also been in contact with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and after an investigation, they have agreed to update their internal database to reflect the correct information as well as placing a headstone amendment request.
