This site is all about remembering the soldiers that fell during the first world war and who are buried in the Commonweatlh war cemetries across France and Belgium.
To just do that though means Iam forgetting about the greater majority of men,whose bodies were never recovered and have no grave,just remembered by their name being carved onto the memorials that have been errected in both countries.
It was following a suggestion made by Richard Dawson (follow him on Twitter @digger_dawson),that I have decided to include a section on this site dedicated to the men whose names fill these memorials.
