Born in Newquay Devon in 1896.

His parents were

Richard James Trebilcock(1867-06/08/1935) and

Katie Sarah Jane Manley(1874-07/02/1904)

They married in 1895.

Aubrey had a a sister, Edna Grace

(26/01/1902-01/03/1975).

In the 1901 census the family were recorded as living at

5 Fernlea Terrace Newquay Devon.
Richard was serving as mate on the merchant ship Fleetwing that was harboured at Brixham.

Due to their mothers death in 1904,Aubrey and Edna were sent to live with their grandparents and in the 1911 census were recorded as living at

3 Ackland Terrace Newquay Devon.

Aubrey was employed as a plumber.

He enlisted at Bodmin and his date of disembarkation into France was on 27/07/1915. He was killed in action on 01/07/1916.

He was awarded the 1914-1915 Star,

the 1914-1918 British War and Allied Victory medals.
