Born In Belfast in 1894.
In the 31-03-1901 Irish census,he is recorded living with his father William(1866-1910),an iron moulder,his mother Ellen(born 1872) along with brothers William,Matthew and sisters Mary,Agnes,Rebecca,Ellen and Jane
on Kingswood Street,Belfast.
In the 02-04-1911 Irish census,he is still living with his mother(now widowed) and siblings,
at Pottinger Down,Belfast.
He was employed as a machinist.
He enlisted in Belfast and his dis-emabarkation into France was on 04-10-1915.
He was killed in action on 07-06-1917.
