Born In Edmonton,Middlesex,London on 21/05/1897
and baptised on 24/07/1897.
His parents were Charles Anderson (16/04/1857-05/10/1925),
a joiner and Agnes Sarah Caroline House (1861-05/10/1939). They were married on 13/05/1882.
He had 2 brothers,Thomas Charles(1891-1972)
and Arthur Frederick(1900-1937).
He also had 6 sisters,Elsie Clara(born in 1885),
Beatrice Laura(1886-1965),Violet Agnes(1887-1967),
Ruby Ivy(1895-1972),Alison Bertha(1900-1981) and
Olive Evelyn(born in 1903).
In the 1901 census,the family were recorded as living at
83 Broad Lane Tottenham.
By the 1911 census,the family had moved to
5 Baronet Grove Tottenham.
He enlisted in Hornsey ,Middlesex as Private (3658) in the Middlesex Regiment.He was later transferred as Private(37110)
in the Bedfordshire Regiment.
He was finally transferred as Rifleman (14/41679) into the
14th Battalion Royal Irish Rifles.
He was killed in action on 07/06/1917.
