                       3rd July 1917

Born in New Barnet,London in 1892.

In the 1901 census,he is recorded as living with his father,William George Page(1864-1911),a ticket collector with the Great Northern Railway(GNR),his mother,Harriett Jane(nee Palmer(married 1891),born in 1863 and died in 1950, at

147 Whittington Road,Southgate,Enfield,London.

This was his mothers second marriage as she had previously been married to Albert John Asprey,a corporal in the 1/10th Regiment of Foot(became the Lincolnshire Regiment in July 1881) in 1881 and they had a daughter,Lillie Miranda Alberta in 1883.Albert John died at sometime between 1883 & 1890.

In the 1911 census Harry was still living with his parents,with the family having moved to 30 Richmond Road Bowes Park,

New Southgate,London.

Harry was employed as a clerk with the GNR,whilst his father was now a goods porter with the GNR.

He enlisted in Shoreditch,London into the 173rd Brigade Royal Field Artillery as a corporal( 25184), later being promoted to Serjeant.

His dis-embarkation into France was on 27-11-1915 and he was killed in action on 03-07-1917.
