(she died 11/1988),Elizabeth Mary
(she died 03/1965) and Kate(she died 06/1982) at
Marston Shelton,Ampthill,Bedfordshire.
He was employed as a general labourer.
He enlisted in Shelton and originally served as (30162)Private
in the Norfolk Regiment,Before transferring to become (24395) Private in The Northamptonshire Regiment.He later became Lance Corporal (41532) in the Royal Irish Rifles.
He was killed in action on 07-06-1917.
His brother Herbert served as a Private(22850) in the
8th Battalion Befordshire Regiment before being killed in action on 15-09-1916.
He is remembered on the Thiepval memorial.
