In the 1911 census,he is recorded as living with his father,Thomas Henry Parkinson,an insurance agent(he died 24-06-1948),his mother Sarah Jane(nee Molineux(Married 1891))along with his brother James(he died 09/1974) and sisters, Maggie(she died 31-05-1963) and Nora(she died 09/1969)

at 42 Stanwell Road ,Swinton,Manchester.

He enlisted in Manchester, orginally serving with the

2nd Battalion Royal Army Service Corps

(regiment number- 2/266140) .

He was killed in action on 07-06-1917.
